House On The Hill

This bespoke timber frame dwelling replaced the original 1930s house with a low energy construction incorporating ground source heating system, solar PV, rain water harvesting, passive solar shading and a high performing building fabric. Local stone was used and the design was developed on the local vernacular transposed into a modern yet accessible aesthetic.
